Number 2???

Looks like Jacoby Ellsbury has decided to take the number 2 for this year. I guess he had wanted 2 all along cause he repped it in high school but the bastard bench coach Brad Mills wouldnt give it to him. Turns out that guy bounced and is now coaching the Astros so Ellsbury swooped in and grabbed it. To top it all off he said he was fine about taking left field to make way for Mike Cameron. Kid has played it there before which is a plus, he wont have to get used to fielding off the Green Monster, and is looking at the benefits of left instead of center. Left field would require less running to ensure that he has plenty of juice for the basepaths. He led the AL in 2008 with 50 and beat out everybody in the MLB in 2009 with 70 so hopefully we can see him get that steals total up a little bit for 2010.
